Meet the Founder

Tom D'Amore is an experienced and skilled trial attorney.

Tom D’Amore worked at a Big Eight accounting firm as a certified public accountant before earning his law degree.  He is licensed to practice law in Oregon, Washington & California and practices in all 3 states.  He founded D’Amore Law Group in 1994 and has immersed himself in personal injury law, dedicating his time and work to injured people and their families. He is very proud of the accomplishments of his firm and the caring and compassionate attitude towards the firm’s clients.

He is a board certified civil trial advocate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is an experienced and highly effective personal injury attorney.

Tom is an Executive Committee member, President's Circle member and Board of Governors member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association as well as being a member of the Education Committee.   Tom is a long-time member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) which has been renamed the American Association for Justice (AAJ).  He is an Oregon Delegate and President's Club member of the AAJ as well as a Chair-elect of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Section.  Tom was elected to the House of Delegates of the Oregon State Bar Association, is an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the nationally acclaimed Public Justice (formerly the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice). Tom also served as the treasurer of Oregon ballot measures affecting consumers and the rights of the injured and disabled, as well as the treasurer of the re-election campaign of Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski.

Tom has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating (AV) which reflects the highest ethical standards and quality of legal services by skillfully and successfully representing thousands of clients.

Tom is married and the father of three children. He is active in his community and has coached numerous youth sports from the highest competitive level to the recreation level, including football, basketball and baseball. Tom was a coach of his son’s baseball team that won the Pacific Northwest Championship of Cal Ripken Baseball and went on to compete in the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Maryland, where his team placed 2nd in the United States. Tom is also active in coaching youth basketball through the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO).
