Dan Doede is known as “The Oracle” at D’Amore Law. Dan has 30 years of experience in personal injury law and he’s been with us since 2009. Dan worked for Portland attorney Neil Jackson before coming to D’Amore Law Group. Dan is one of the most well-read non-attorneys in Oregon. You can often find him in the office early and late at night reading legal opinions, or listening to recorded oral arguments on cases argued before the US Supreme Court, Oregon Supreme Court, and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. His love of the law is bound by the intellectual challenge on one hand and the equitable remedies our civil justice provides to injured parties on the other. Dan works on complex litigation, including product liability and employer/construction liability cases. Dan is a true leader among our firm’s paralegals and keeps us updated on Oregon insurance law as well.
Before becoming a paralegal, Dan worked 10 years for United Parcel Service. After suffering an on-the-job back injury and undergoing two back surgeries, he returned to school and became a paralegal. Dan is happily married and has a teenage daughter. His interests include sports, literature and music. He enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs and two cats.
