Safety Rope Saves Seattle Window Washer Who Fell From Building

The media reported Monday that a safety rope helped save the life a window-washer who fell eight stories from a downtown building. The worker certainly would have died, but the safety rope caught on to something at the second floor and softened the impact when the worker hit the ground. As a result, he only suffered a single, non-life threatening injury – a broken pinky finger.
